Another Update

saphyriaMeemaw passed away this morning, about 10:55. She just didn't have the energy to keep breathing. Uncle Mike and Granddaddy were with her when she went. I'd like to think that she wasn't in any pain.
So, today was rather hellish, with all the people around and moving about, trying to get things arranged and set up, and not giving themselves time to really dwell on Meemaw's passing. I know I did it too, throwing myself into my knitting and getting quite a ways along in a new project that takes a lot of concentration. It's been a subdued day.
Tomorrow I must shut myself out and focus on my reading for classes, though, as I have two books to read by Monday, a reaction paper to write on one of them, and a paper to write for Native American History due on Monday, as well.
Saturday is the funeral and burial. All my family are coming down from all around to be here.
And I was really hoping for some rest, this Fall Break. Some quiet.
But yeah. Life comes at you fast. And sometimes, so do other things. I'm going to bed.
