Knitted Bag

Finished another knitting project! This time, a bright, green and blue summer purse.

It's as long as and about two inches wider than a DVD case. I'm rather proud of it.
The lady at the department store the other day said I should start selling some of the things I make. What say you, Flist? Should I?

But you could totally stake out a corner of webspace, or start pitching to friends and acquaintances who would then agree to pimp you freely when they get compliments. There's even things like getting a table at a fair or flea market if you can pull together enough FO's. There's always a market for quality knitted things at places like that. It's just a matter of how much time/energy you want to expend on this, because you could seriously take it anywhere. :)

Date: 2006-06-24 03:18 am (UTC)Websites aren't that hard to manage, especially if you have either a friend who can design for you or have access to a design program. Order forms are little more than snippets of information that get filtered into an email. And order forms aren't even mandatory. I've seen websites that effectively are like "This is what I got. If you see anything you want, email me [insert email link here] to place your order."
Not!cat iPod holder? *dies* You're posting pics of that when completed, right?
