Well, since I haven't gone to bed yet, I believe I can still faithfully call it my birthday. So, yay! Anyways... I didn't do much for my birthday today. I went to classes, I talked with my professors, I went to band, I ate dinner really quickly and left before the cafeteria people could come out and sing Happy Birthday to me. Brian and Joey, the other saxophone players, were terribly amused by this and laughed at the look on my face when the lady running our IDs through the machine recognized me and said happy birthday. I had no idea who this woman was or how she knew me. Ah, the wonders of small schools. I also successfully avoided getting tossed into the fountain, which is the tradition for birthdays on campus. Go me, for doing away with useless traditions! *gets Confucius quoted at me*

I'm going to go register to vote tomorrow, or technically today, and maybe go see if I can find a bookstore in town, or something. I don't really plan on buying anything, it's just I need the bookstore fix. Maybe I could buy some books so I can continue to catch up on my Canon reading list. I swear it grows every week.

Also, in good news, I have talked Alana into joining the inescapable pit that is Milliways. Bwah for plotness and continuing to break Will with our evil. *lifts Handy Grab-N-Go Cup of Pure Evil in a salute (I don't have any choice since Willmun has stapled it to my hand....)*

On another topic, I'd like to let everyone know that my roommate is insane. It's 2:10 and she is still out and she has an eight o'clock class tomorrow. Five hours until she has to get up again. Barking mad, I tell you. As long as she doesn't pull another all-nighter where I give up on her and get up at 4:30 to finally turn off the side light that kept waking me up.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Going home on Friday, having a date to celebrate. Saturday having my birthday luncheon with family, then going to the football game to see people I know and most likely do some of my homework. Blarg. And then perhaps hanging out with Rance that evening. Yay!

...You know, I really need to sweep my floor. It's getting nasty. Later.

Note: I've made twenty icons in the past two weeks for over eight different people not including me. And most of them have gotten compliments. *beams*

-Traci, finally 18.

Happy birthday again! Sorry the books haven't come! :(

Sorry you're roommates barkingmad. I would suggest not bothering to leave on the light. She's the one coming in ridiculously late (or early) and disturbing your sleep by having the light on. I turn mine off (not that my roomie comes back at two in the morning) and as far as I can tell, is not bothered by the lack of lights. And if your room's anything like mine, it isn't particularly dark inside anyway.

Hope you work it out! :D

Happy birthday (belated, again, etc.) hon!

Your roommate is insane; it's very hard to deal with 8 AM classes anyway, I always thought, and much more so without any sleep. Turn off the light when you go to bed, and rest. You should not be deprived of sleep on this account, really. It's her problem -- maybe she can get a nice little flashlight to deal with such things. They're dead useful, truly.

BTW, the math is bunk icon? Has me laughing rather a lot right now. ;)

YAY plotness!

Hee, thanks.

I'm glad you like the icon. It irritates math people, and so it is automatically a good thing to use.

Ah, didn't know it was your birthday. Happy birthday, then! (And lucky girl, you get to vote this election. I'm still one year shy of that.)

Also, re: Milliways-- are you playing Will there, then? I wouldn't know, as I appear to be the only person living who has a vague, half-hearted wish to protect my sanity, and so I actually haven't been following, though whenever I look at the cast list, I'm sorely tempted. ^^

Actually, no, I don't play Will. I play Jane.

Oh dear.

Just a thought.

Hope you've had a good day.

That is all I have to say.

...Yay?

*wibbles*

Do I want to ask who she's playing? Is it who I think it might be?

(Oh, who am I kidding. Yay and bouncing and evil!)
