Since the Falls are less than an hour's drive from where I live, I've seen them in all seasons. They're pretty in the summer, but there's something almost mystical about them in mid-February when they're nearly iced over. Long fingers of ice sparkling on the rocks, and the trees are coated with even more layers of ice from where the spray has frozen on the branches.
