Points in this Day's Favor
1. I feel like I beat the calculus exam into the ground and not vice-versa.
2. I feel like I did reasonably well on the Politics Exam that was held at BLOODY 8 AM this morning.
3. Journeys class today was amusing, and I got to sound intelligent in knowing more about natural selection than my professor. Thank goodness for that lovely Anthropology course last year, and a good memory.
4. It's Friday.
5. This afternoon I am taking a nap no matter what anyone says to me.
6. I made three new icons yesterday that I am proud of.
7. It's Friday.
Points Against This Day
1. I had to get up early today because I forgot to write a short assignment for Journeys on Darwin's Origin of Species.
2. I woke up with the song "Edielweiss" from Sound of Music stuck in my head. Thanks, Doctor Lecter. No really.
3. My roommate decided to have Lime Shrimp-flavored Ramen noodles for breakfast this morning, and our room no longer smells of Mango Mandarin from Bath and Body Works. It now smells faintly bitter, like artificial lime spritzed over fake shrimp. Perhaps freshwater shrimp.
But that's just about it. Over all, a good day so far. I just have two more classes and then lunch and my nap beckon. I am terribly glad I had a good Biology/Anatomy teacher in high school, as Cell Biology is more like a slightly more-indepth review of stuff I already know. It is good therapy after Calculus.
I still hate math. Nothing will ever change that, second-hand love of math notwithstanding. First-hand hate trumps vicarious love.
And I've just noticed, once again, that Mogget has an obscene number of icons. He can only have three at a time, but has nearly thirty that I've made. This is sad.

Date: 2004-10-22 09:42 am (UTC)Seriously, that's excellent news, particularly about the calculus -- I know how hard you've been working to stay on top of that subject. Nice job.
(I'm a little scared of your roommate's breakfast choice. Ew.)
Have a good Friday, and a good nap. See you around after I finish work and my own exam stuff, eventually...
