They say that to feel better about bad days, one should list the things or happenings that happened that day for which one is grateful, or that made one happy. So. All right.
Things that I am thankful for, of today:
The early morning sunshine streaming through leaves that are still trying to cling to their greenness.
A hot cup of tea that keeps one warm in a freezing classroom.
The Magic: The Gathering card that some student had clipped to one of the campus bicycles to make the spokes click, that made me laugh.
The way the campus squirrels freak out, having thought that since they hid on the other side of the tree from you, you could never sneak up on them.
Chatting about anime with Melissa and Ben in the Burrow.
Getting a hug from a friend.
Talking politics with my saxophone instructor.
Having a moment to breathe between midterm exams and papers.
And all of these just barely make my day break even, thanks to the horrendous midterm I had today. A friend of mine was in tears, this afternoon, because she had had to leave three quarters of the exam blank. The questions were soooooooo freaking obscure, it was insane. I had to grasp at straws to even answer them, and I have no idea if I answered some of them right.
It was awful.
Anyway. I have one class tomorrow, and I am heading to bed.
