This week?

Is fired.

It needs to start cleaning out its desk and get that stupid motivation poster off the wall right this minute.

Here are its transgressions so far:

Sunday: Study for exam on Monday and read an entire novel in one sitting for class on Tuesday.
Monday: Take exam and write a paper for Tuesday.
Tuesday: Class all day, plus reading for Thursday. Collapse for a bit of sleep.
Wednesday: More reading for class Thursday and writing a paper for Thursday morning.

Thursday Will Be: Turning in paper at 8:15am, class until 11, class from 1 to 2:30, saxophone lesson I haven't had time to practice for at 5pm, then supper with London Study Abroad people at 5:30. It actually starts at 5, but my lesson is more important. Then I read for Friday's class.

Friday: One Class. Then Anime and Knitting and Dodging People Wanting To Throw Me In The Fountain, as it's my birthday.

All days in this week?

FIRED.

Okay.

Thursday: Turned in paper, did not sleep through classes despite whining of brain needing it.

Visited the graduate school expo. Only the crappy ones showed up.

Some guy who knows a graduate of the university my father works at went on a minor tirade about how he's missing out on getting a lot more african-american students by not using this specific graduate who's now a pilot for continental airlines in the university commercials. I said I'd pass the word along (C'MON, people. My dad's job is not my business. If I don't get to tell him what to do, you certainly don't) and vamoosed va-va-voom.

My watch battery died half an hour before my saxophone lesson-

The lesson went fine.

I was able to catch the tail end of the Study Abroad discussion, and then Mrs. Doyle sent us all home with the leftover pizza.

Now? I play video games and unwind. One more class before the week is over, and five and a half hours until I am 20.
