Apr. 23rd, 2005 09:45 pmHere's how it works:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1. somewhere i have never travelled... Where's somewhere you've never been but would like to go?
I've never been to Italy, but I really would like to go. Specifically Venice, Florence, and Rome, with different reasons for each.
2. the rain is full of ghosts tonight... Do you believe in ghosts?
In a way, I do. I believe in echoes. Say, what happened in a place in the past can affect the feelings of those who visit there later. Not ghosts, but... feelings.
3. look me in the stars and tell me truly ... Name your favorite constellation.
My favorite constellation has been the Pleiades, ever since I was little. The story of the Seven Sisters was told to me by my mother when I was very young, and I always remembered it. Every so often I catch myself thinking, "The Pleiades are bright tonight", and smiling.
4. those that mock the hyacinthine bell... Can you identify all of these poems?
"Somewhere I Have Never Travelled", by ee cummings.
"The Rain is Full of Ghosts Tonight", by Juction.
"Look me in the Stars and Tell Me Truly", from "A Question" by Robert Frost.
"Those That Mock the Hyachinthine Bell", from "Sonnet" by J. H. Reynolds.
"You have Spoken the Answer", from "The Answer" by Carl Sandburg.
Booyaka, Aspen.
5. you have spoken the answer... What's something you've learned that you'd like for others to know?
I'd want others to know that it is technically impossible to sneeze with one's eyes open, that Tea is Love, that floccinauccinihilipilification and antidisestablishmentarianism are the two longest words in the English language that aren't medical terms, that evil knits, that the misty, gloomy days are beautiful too, that books smell better the older they are, that Good doesn't equal Nice, that Tea, Chocolate, and Alcohol can help reglue all breaks, that someone needs to market a guy's cologne based on Old Book Smell, that while enemies might stab you in the back, friends stab you in the front, that love is more than lust, and that friendship is more the feeling of having known someone forever than the actual knowing.
