Dreams, illness, samething

Went shopping yesterday, had fun and weather was lovely and rainy. Bought a dress one size smaller than I usually do, was very happy. Bought part of Alana's Christmas gift. Bought some makeup, bought a book. Very happy. Was planning on spending today doing research for the Evil Schizophrenia Paper of Hallucinative Doom. Nope. Sinus infection slipped in through a closed window last night while I was slumbering peacefully in my bed dreaming of sugar plum fairies caramelizing in the bottom of a skillet and something or other I think they were flowers, dancing to the tune of Nowhere Man by the Beatles. Then there were evil Taxies made out of newspaper waiting to kidnap me or something. And then Alana's character Maddy from The Rules of Science (good fic btw) was there with swirling multi-coloured eyes watching rockinghorses eat marshmallows with the phones ringing. Then Havelock turned into a flamingo which subtly attacked the dancing flowers which I have no idea how they go there, since they had already disappeared from the kitchen. Then I woke up to the idea that I needed to check my email.

I think I need more sleep. No research today. Maurice and Saphyria have disappeared for a while, which is good, but I have the sneaking suspicion that they're someplace warmer and sunnier than here, which is unfair.

Am going back to bed.
