Thirded on the doctor front.

Also... has the weather in your area been kind of goofy lately? I tend to have a helluva time when changing fronts pass through here. My other immediate thought was wondering if you shift around during your sleep. Compression/immobilization tend to help when I'm feeling ouchy, and it's gotten to the point that I contort myself into positions that compress sore parts of me without really thinking about it -- kind of a "make it stop" reflex. It happens even when I'm sleeping, so that I end up waking up with cramps some days from having twisted myself into a pretzel in my sleep.

Your dad might also be onto something with the reflux. I have horrid GERD, and before I started noticing upper GI symptoms, I'd get pain around that area of my stomach that would translate through to bizarre spots on my body. (I don't think it ever affected my hip, though, so. Perhaps not.)

Or it could just be fibro being a fleabag. Which also happens. :|

Either way, having a doc look into it is probably the best option. Especially if it's been going on persistently for a month. That's just no good.

*hugs* *gentle massage* *lots and lots of tea*
